How To Configure Outlook 2003 to leave email on the server.

The following steps will show you how to configure your Outlook 2003 client so that it will leave a copy of all
email on the server. Keep in mind that in most cases you will have a limit how much email we will keep for
you if you have questions about storage space please contact us.

Step 1 Open Outlook 2003 you should see something like this.

Next click on Tools => Options:

This document assumes you have already configured Outlook with the correct email settings.

From here just select "View or Change existing e-mail accounts" and click Next

Locate the correct email account (most people only have one account) then click Change.

Now click "More Settings"

Now click on the "Advanced" tab and check the box for "Leave a copy of messages on the server"

It's a good idea to check the box "Remove from server when deleted from 'Deleted Items'" and set the Remove from server after 60 days.

Click OK then click Next and Finished.
